Justice Informed LLC is a social impact consulting firm with four strategic service areas: diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI); community engagement; public policy-informed corporate social responsibility; and equity-focused philanthropy. With its historical lens and accountable approach, Justice Informed builds customized, human-centered strategies that increase the positive workplace and community impact of our clients. We work with corporations, nonprofits, activism groups, universities, startups, government offices, and philanthropic organizations, and more.
At Mercer, Justice Informed provided key insights and direction to their network of 40+ multi-national corporations. Strategies offered included identifying new opportunities to create listening channels and community-informed inclusion strategies that connect Inclusion teams with CSR teams, to produce new financial and organizational efficiencies.
At HCSC (through Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois), Justice Informed supported the lead of their multi-million dollar health impact portfolio in evaluating fifty community-focused organizations and providing recommendations for financial support. Additionally, Justice Informed consulted their team to prepare and innovate new ways to engage the HCSC+BCBSIL Executive Team and Board to understand new methods for philanthropic and communications impact, leveraging staff and current business partners.
At World Business Chicago, the corporate economic engine for the City of Chicago, Justice Informed worked to provide a full evaluation of their multi-million dollar investment partnership with Blackstone. Backed by JP Morgan Chase, Justice Informed also produced a quantitative and qualitative report on the ecosystem for inclusive entrepreneurship for the city at-large, and provided recommendations to civic, corporate, and private funders interested in new pipelines and opportunities to engage racial minority, women, LGBTQIA+, veteran, immigrant, and disabled entrepreneurs.
At GirlForward, a nonprofit committed to supporting the educational, recreational, and community needs of refugee girls from countries across the world, Justice Informed performed an intensive racial and cultural equity audit, engaged their board and staff in trainings to increase their understanding of their clients and communities served as well as strategies for governing and operating an inclusive nonprofit serving politically vulnerable populations, and directed the creation of a Justice Informed Action Plan to guide their inclusion strategy for the following years.
At The Academy Group, Justice Informed worked with their Director of National Partnerships to expand their network for corporate and community partnerships, secure leads for employment opportunities for people of color, and provide strategic consultation for their student-facing programming. By leveraging our extensive network and team experience with deploying inclusion-focused employment strategies, we Justice Informed delivered an increase in their new and future revenue-generating partnerships as well as insured that the placements they made in the field were ones that provided a quality experience for diverse candidates.
